My Trip to Prague 2019

Hi everyone! As it's coming up to my one year anniversary since I visited Prague, Czech Republic I thought it was only right I dedicated a blog post to this beautiful city. It's definitely one of my favourites! If you're considering visiting Prague there are so many things to see. You can buy a ticket for the "Hop On Hop Off" bus tours, which essentially does what it says on the tin, you can get on and off wherever you like and cater your route completely to your own tastes and interests. Tickets are around 10 euro and with three routes to choose from they are great value for money! My favourite stop on the bus tour would have had to be Prague Castle as the views were beautiful (pictured above).  I also loved Prague Old Town Square, the buildings were stunning. My favourite was the pink Irish pub on the corner of course! Prague Old Town Square is where the Astronomical Clock is as well, another huge attraction to Prague which I definitely recommend going to watch...

Does "Normal People" reflect normal TCD life?

Hi everyone!! I thought I'd make today's blog post all about the BBC's "Normal People", discussing my favourite elements and if it creates unrealistic expectations for being a student in Dublin. If you haven't watched it (why???), Normal People was based on Sally Rooney's bestselling novel and tells the tale of an almost unconventional love between main characters Marianne and Connell. The first being, if you're anything like me seeing elements of Irish culture on TV brings you all kinds of joy! Normal People is set in the fictional town of Carricklea however it was filmed in Sligo. I found this was one of the main reasons I chose to watch it as I used to visit Sligo quite a lot as a young child, it was weird to see it featuring in a TV show...

Why I Love Depop!

Hi everyone! I'm Clodagh and I'm so excited to be writing my first blog post!! I have considered starting a blog for many years but have always been too nervous and wasn't sure if anyone would even read it. Today, I finally decided to take the plunge so here goes! I've decided to keep a simple topic for my first post, it will give a bit more of an insight into who I am and what I enjoy, a little more than I can provide in my "about me" section. Today I'm going to be discussing why I enjoy Depop so much. If you aren't aware, Depop is an app that allows users to sell items to buyers, this is usually second hand (or brand new) clothing items however you can sell almost anything on it! I'm serious, I've seen someone sell bandanas for dogs before..  Depop is brilliant because it allows users to essentially start a business if they like, there are lots of accounts who sell handmade items and grow an audience and business through doing so. It's a...
